We were delighted that our kitchen facilities were utilised by The VC Gallery last weekend as part of the celebrations for Volunteers' Week at PAVS' special event, "PAVS BIG DO", held at The Centre, Simpson Cross.

The VC Gallery team created a delicious selection of curries using locally sourced produce for the event. Teams from both Pembroke Dock and Haverfordwest worked together to prepare and serve 60 guests, offering a choice of beef madras, chicken dopiaza, and vegetable curry, accompanied by jasmine rice and a fresh salad selection grown through the VC D4V project and community gardens.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers, both on the day and behind the scenes, whose hard work helped make the event such a fun and successful occasion.

We would also like to thank PAVS for giving us the opportunity to showcase our hall facilities and be part of such a fantastic community celebration.
